Starting in release 5.0.6 it is possible to load files into Dropfiles within the JCE editor via the text link icon and if necessary to connect some file types to text. The implementation of this option is remarkably incomplete and disappointing. Protest on my part did not help.

What is the case? The JCE editor has two excellent options for loading files: via the dedicated icon and via the JCE file browser (accessible via the home page of the administrator).

Incidentally, files can be loaded very well with the aid of the specially designated button under the edit box of the editor.
